he grapevine has been abuzz with reports of Alia Bhatt and her longtime boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra's relationship going kaput. Rumours were doing the rounds that the newly-single Alia had moved on to her Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor, and they gained momentum when Manish Malhotra appeared on a chat show and called them the "hook up of 2018"........
However, according to a report in Mid-Day, Alia has moved on, but not to Ranbir. The new man in Alia's life is the founder of Hike Messenger, Kavin Mittal. Kavin is the son of telecom tycoon Sunil Mittal, who is the founder and chairman of Airtel. The two first met during the World Economic Forum held in October 2017 and got along like a house on fire..............
A source is quoted as telling the publication, "They want to take time to let their friendship evolve. Given their commitments, they see little of each other. But it's certainly a friendship that can go a long way. They don't want to make a public statement yet.".............
On the work front, Alia is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, in which she will be paired opposite Ranveer Singh........
